The (reconstructed) aremorican calendar

The working Calendar of Aremorica and Celtica:

As Aiia described to Demetrios her families belief in the way the world works, how the seasons are the embodiment of gods and goddesses in a way that he, the Greek, can understand: “We believe that the winter is Cronus, the Summer is Aphrodite, and the spring Persephone, and that we call them by these names and believe that from Cronus and Aphrodite all things have their origin. Cronus is asleep in the winter and awake in the summer, we will sing lullabies for him in the winter and in the summer chants to arouse him, after the manner of those Bacchic worshippers. Even though he sleeps – his powers are of this world – the dreams of Cronus as he sleeps in his cave deep in golden rock on the island in the western ocean. He even anticipates in his thoughts everything his son Zeus does.”

Earth-like planet is found around Sun-like star

Star may contain liquid water on its surface.
NASA has announced new data from the Kepler spacecraft on Monday (12/5).

U.S. space agency (NASA) announced on Monday (5) discovered the first planet similar in size to the Earth which revolves around a star like the Sun The planet is 600 light-years distance and was detected by Kepler spacecraft, launched in 2009 with the aim of discovering new "Earths" in space.

Another feature of the star is that it is at a distance from the star that could allow the development of liquid water and atmosphere, ideal conditions for the emergence of life as we know it. When a planet is under these conditions, it is said that he is in a "habitable zone" (also the common term "goldilocks").

The planet was named Kepler 22b. Their discovery is reported in the journal "Astrophysical Journal", a major scientific publications on astronomy.

In February, NASA astronomers had announced a list of 54 stars that could be habitable. Of these, only Kepler 22b was confirmed as a planet. The star has a radius 2.4 times larger than Earth and rotates around its star in 290 days. Scientists still can not say the planet is rocky or gaseous.

Data from Kepler

The new balance of Kepler revealed the existence of 1,094 new planet candidates. Of these, 10 were in the "habitable zone" of the stars they orbit. Future observations should confirm that these bodies are planets or not.

Currently, only 600 stars are confirmed as planets by astronomers. The Kepler spacecraft is currently the main unveiled new worlds. The instrument scans the surrounding area of 150 000 stars, all located in a strip in the sky between the constellations Cygnus and Lyra.

To confirm that Kepler 22b was actually a planet, the probe had to check the signal coming from that region at least three times. The star it orbits is a little cooler than our Sun.

Since the last review in February, the number of candidate planets grew 89% and now reaches 2326. Of these, 207 have a size similar to Earth's 680 is larger than our planet, and 1181 are as big as Neptune. The list is completed by 203 stars with the same size as Jupiter and only 55 larger than the biggest star in the Solar System (after the Sun).

Other recent discoveries in astronomy point to the existence of places in space with conditions similar to those of our planet and may even contain life, such as Jupiter's moon Europa.

The yellow traces on the surface of Europa may indicate the presence of bacteria, the ice-covered world may have liquid water, energy, and organic compounds - all three of the ingredients necessary for life to survive, its surface is composed of ice and is one of the smoothest in the Solar System. Strong evidence that there is an ocean beneath the ice surface that will house life as well as early life on earth that would have begun in the oceans.

                                                      Europa.

Another discovery points to a planet with sufficient conditions to host life. The star with only three times Earth's mass was detected at 20 light years away from our Sun, orbiting a star in the constellation Libra known as Gliese 581, a red dwarf. Astronomers at the University of California and the Carnegie Institution of Washington say that the planet is the first to have real potential to support life.

The discovery was announced on Wednesday (29) by the National Science Foundation in the United States. The star called Gliese 581g, is in a region in which astronomers think that a planet may have liquid water to form oceans, rivers and lakes. On site, the distance from the star would allow an environment with a mild climate, neither too cold nor too hot.

Terra similar
A ilustração mostra um formato possível para o exoplaneta que orbita a estrela Gliese 581, a apenas 20 anos-luz de distância da Terra. (Crédito: AP / Zina Deretsky / National Foundation of Science)
The planet's orbit around the star Gliese 581 is just over one month on Earth, with the possible stations year lasting only days.

Scientists also estimate that the average surface temperature varies from 31 to 12 degrees Celsius. The team also says that the planet orbits with one side always faces the star, similar to how the Moon always shows one face to Earth.

For astronomers, the planet can "sustain life", which means it has the potential to meet conditions of life. Living things can not necessarily be similar to humans.

According to Steven Vogt, coordinator of the study which included 11 years working in the Observatory W. M. Keck, located in Hawaii, the discovery is an indication that there may be many other similar bodies in the universe.

Results will be published in Astrophysical Journal, but are available online at arXiv.org. By September, 490 planets have been discovered outside our solar system.

Time-lapse video shows rare and deadly phenomenon on the ocean floor

The brinicle, first filmed in Antarctica, is a column of submarine ice that kills every living thing that approaches.

Editora Globo

A rare natural phenomenon which occurs only in cold waters, was filmed for the first time in Antarctica by a BBC crew. Known as "brinicle", the phenomenon consists of columns of ice that form in the interior of the ocean, killing every living thing that comes close.

The brinicle forms in very calm seas, where the air temperature is much lower than the temperature of the water. Thus, a small glacier is formed on the surface with a high concentration of salt. Because it is very cold and salt water, its density is greater than the water below it. This makes her fall, creating a column of ice that grows without stopping.

When gets to the bottom of the ocean, brinicle expands the ground, killing all living beings that you are approaching, such as starfish. This process takes a total of five to six hours, the second team from the BBC. The video shows the formation of a complete brinicle by time-lapse technique, which reduced the phenomenon to less than two minutes.

The four treasures of the Toutai Deuas Danuna

“The Tuatha Dé Danann of the precious jewels,
Where did they find learning?
They came upon perfect wisdom
In druidism (and) in deviltry.

Fair Iardanel, a prophet of excellence,
Son of Nemed, son of Agnoman,
Had as a foolish offspring the active Beothach,
Who was a hero of cleaving, full of wonders.

The children of Beothach, —-long-lived their fame-—
The host of valiant heroes came,
After sorrow and after great sadness,
To Lochlann with all of their slips.

Four cities,-—just their renown-—
They held in sway with great strength.
On this account they passionately made competition
For learning their genuine wisdom.

Failias and bright Gorias,
Findias (and) Murias of great prowess,
From whichi battles were won outside,
(Were) the names of the chief cities.

Morfis and noble Erus,
Uscias and Semiath, ever-fierce,
To name them,—-a discourse of need--
(These were) the names of the sages of nehle wisdom.

Morfis (was) the poet of Failias itself,
In Gorias (was) Esrus of keen desires),
Semiath (was) in Murias, the fortress of pinnacles,
(And) Uscias (was) the fair seer of Findias.

Four presents (were fetched) with them hither,
By the nobles of the Tuatha DO Danann:
A sword, a stone, a caldron of worth,
(And) a spear for the death of great champions.

From Failias (came) hither the Lia Fail,
Which shouted under the kings of Ireland.
The sword in the hand of the nimble Lug
From Gorias (it was procured), -— a choice of vast riches.

From far-away Findias over the sea
Was brought the deadly spear of Nuada.
From Murias (was conveyed) a huge and mighty treasure,
The caldron of the Dagda of lofty deeds.

The King of Heaven, the King of feeble men,
May he protect me, the King of royal parts,
The Being in whom is the endurance of spectres,
And the strength of the gentle race.”

Tuatha Dé Danann.
The End. Amen.

There were four islands in which they (Toutai Deuas Danuna) learned science, knowledge and magic; Ualia, Uindia, Goria and Moria (Gaelic:  Failias, Findias, Goirias and Murias. Here what are their names: Ualiassos "Close", Goriassos "Enclose", Uindiassos "White" and Moriassos "Isolated".

There were four sages in those four islands: Marouesos "Great Knowing", master of Laidion uidia (Knowing of Hymns), which was Ualiassos; Esdrios Alto "diplomat," Master of Ateberton-uidia (Knowing of Sacrifice) at Goriassos; Uisucios "Insightful" master of Brictonon-uidia (Knowing of Spells and Charms), to Uindiassos; and Semiose Bitubarros "The Capricious always Haughty" master of Cantlon-uidia (Knowing the songs) to Moriassos. These are the four druids that Toutai Deuas Danuna learned the wisdom and knowledge.

Was brought to Ualiassos Lianca Ualis "the Stone of Destiny" which is Tamra and crying in every legitimate king who seized the Ireland.

Was brought to Goriassos Slega Boudis "Spear of Victory", the launches Lugus: we do not deliver battle against one who was in his hand.

Was brought to Uindiassos Suleuca Cladios "Bright Sword," the sword of Naudon: no one escaped him, and when we pulled the sleeve of Bodu "Cornelius" no one resisted.

Was brought to Moriassos Parios Opos "the Cauldron of Plenty," the cauldron of Dagodeuos "Good God" no company left him unsatisfied.

Thanks to the symbolic talismans we can find the corresponding points of the compass. We know that each item comes from the combination of two overarching principles: the Water proceeds from the Cold and Wet, the Air from humid and the Hot, the Fire from hot and dry, and the Earth from Dry and cold.

North → Ualiassos → Marouessos → Lianca Ualis → Earth
East → Uindiassos → Uisucios → Suleuca Cladios → Air
South → Goriassos → Esdrios Alto → Slega Boudis → Fire
West → Moriassos → Semiose Bitubarros → Parios Opos → Water
pedra - terra - norte, espada - ar - leste; lança - fogo - sul e caldeirão - água - oeste.

Then
Of course that this conception of elements and points of the compass is more later, it's when the poets of Ireland especially William Butler Yeats had contact with the Golden Dawn Society of England which is the basis of modern occultism, in the gaul and Irish texts there is no connection with this concept.

Black rhinos moved to new home by helicopter

Endangered animals traveling 1500 kilometers through South Africa!

A video made by Green Reinassance zoo adventure that documents the helicopter was transporting a group of 19 black rhinos by 1500 km in South Africa Animals extremely endangered, were rescued from the Eastern Cape by the WWF and brought to region of Limpopo, where they will be protected from hunters.

Black rhinos moved to new home by helicopter from WWF on Vimeo.

The group of animals is part of the seventh population of black rhino rescued and relocated by the WWF. The action, which began on November 3, apparently risky is the safest and quickest way to transport the animals, say representatives of the WWF.

The rhinos, weighing 800 to 1400 pounds, were very stressed when the path was made by land, the road was unstable and was taking too long. Conservationists then decided to sedate the animals, tie their paws on a steel cable attached to the helicopter and go on the air for 10 minutes, the worst part of the way.

Finally some kind of action that really takes into account the welfare of animals, not only the interests of the governments, like that control of the number of elephants through massacres, this is a real example!

Trinertá, the Three Forces

The universe emerged from a triad, Trinertá, the Three Forces. the three elements, ie, the two opposing forces and their resultant, arising from the first movement in the Immensity supra-causal and non-differentiated Bituimon. This triad is the primary basis for all aspects of the universe. These three basic forces are mentioned in cosmology as a centripetal attraction, a centrifugal force and balance.

The centripetal action, personified by Lugus, the immanent, the Preserver of the universe is called Biwotúts ("existence"), because there is a concentration of energy, a force of agglomeration. On the mental plane, the cohesive force is the tendency that lights up the unit.

The centrifugal action, called Demerá ("dark"), is the force that seeks to prevent the dispersion concentration. This tendency toward disintegration is the symbol of the final dissolution of all existence in Non-Being. It therefore represents a release. This force of annihilation is personified by dits firing, the Destroyer of Worlds, also called Dagodéwos, Good God

The balance of centripetal and centrifugal gives rise to the third trend, the tendency to orbiting, Suimon, which is the source of the activity. She is personified by the Creator, He-Who-Is-Eternal Bitumios.

Albiyon (the universe) is composed of the Three Worlds:
  • Magoniyá, "Divine Plan", the world of heaven (heaven);
  • Bitus, the world we inhabit, formed by Nemos (heaven, sky), Talamú (Earth), Mori (Sea);
  • Dubnon, the Abyss, the Underworld.
Linking the Three Worlds is Albiyon Beliyon, the World Tree.

therefore:

Three fundamentals of Albiyon: Biwotúts, Demerá, Suimon. And its root is in Undifferentiated Bituimon.

Three worlds of Albiyon: Magoniyá, and Bitus Dubnon. And these are joined by Beliyon.

Three parts of Bitus: Nemos, Talamú and Mori.

It is rooted in that order triadic organization of knowledge: it reflects his identification with the origin of life (and the truth behind appearances) and emphasizes its sacredness and eternal.

The effectiveness of three trends binds to the three ways of being: existence, consciousness and experience. It is this realization of the root space, thought and time. The demonstration takes place, respectively, in the three states of wakefulness (state deperto), dream and deep sleep. The waking state binds to Suimon, ie Bitumios, the dream, the Biwotúts, ie Lugus, the deep sleep, the Demerá, ie, the Dagodéwos.

The tendency to orbiting (what we might call "stability"), which depends on the essence of space, is the source of all spheres of existence perceptible. In the waking state, we effected the experience of existence, you need space and time related. Thus, this state is related to Bitumios, the Immense Being, the Creator. The action, specifically, the ritual action, is the way the corresponding realization.

In the dream state, we effected the experience of the centripetal tendency, the essence of thought, which represents the process of manifestation of the subtle plane in the world. The thought, you know, are the way of corresponding realization. The man who dreams actually recreates the world in symbolic terms.

The deep sleep, which is the inactive state of consciousness is the perception of happiness, the causal state of experience. The tendency to disintegration is the causal aspect of the three qualities; the waking state and dream state emerge from the obscurity of deep sleep and it dissolves. The state of deep sleep is linked to Dagodéwos.

It is not in action, in complete silence of thought, we can achieve the highest degree of consciousness, the pure existence of perfect happiness.

From the standpoint of human achievement, the Dagodéwos Represents the final dissolution of the individual, while the Immanent, the Preserver, Lugus, Represents the supreme enlightenment, the experience of the transcendent God to turn Which all religions. In Fact, the religions Often not know anything Beyond the aspect of Lugus Beyond anything and not about her means of realization.

The position or rank of the three qualities varies with the position of the observer. From the standpoint of human action, is the inferior aspect Demerá, Biwotúts, the most high. Demerá manifests as death, evil, inactivity at the time only the action seemed to work. However, from the standpoint of spiritual realization in which the action is the main obstacle is the inferior aspect Biwotúts, which creates bonds through the merit and virtue, and Demerá the most high, the release of the non-action.

In the process of manifestation, more and more complex relationships between the three trends emerge, giving rise to various types of existence, different beings, distinct entities. The various planes of existence are distinguished by the relative proportion of the action of three trends:

Biwotús (existence) in Biwotúts (existence) is the nature of the Self (Self), anamú (the soul).

Suimon (orbiting) in Biwotúts (existence) is the nature of divinity.

Demerá (dark) in Biwotúts (existence) is the nature of being alive.

Biwotúts (existence) in Suimon (orbiting) as the meeting of the mind, intellect, consciousness and perception of individuality (the internal instrument by which we perceive as being different).

Suimon (orbiting) in Suimon (orbiting) is the nature of the vital energies.

Demerá (dark) in Suimon (orbiting) form the senses.

Biwotúts (existence) in Demerá (dark) gives rise to the principles of the elements.

Demerá (dark) in Demerá (dark) is the nature of the forms of inanimate physical world.

The gods have Suimon (orbiting, that is, stability) on Biwotúts (existence, ie, aggregation), which makes them ever existing. Living things (not that the gods are not living beings) have Demerá (dark, ie, breakdown, instability) on Biwotúts (existence), which makes them available, but unstable, constantly changing from one state to another.

Brown eyes can turn blue with 20 sec. laser surgery

Surgery in the USA turns brown eye blue
Editora Globo

The doctor Gregg Homer, California (USA), found a way to turn brown eyes to blue. The laser procedure is done and removes the brown pigment, melanin. All this in just 20 seconds.

Once the pigment is removed from the upper layer of the iris, the eye will become slowly from brown to blue over two weeks. The technique is irreversible because the tissue does not regenerate.

However, other eye experts urge caution because destroying eye pigment can cause sight problems if too much light is allowed to enter the pupil.

Stroma Medical, the company set up to commercialise the process, estimates it will take at least 18 months to finish the safety tests.

The procedure currently is undergoing testing. The expectation is that the novelty is available in the U.S. over the next two years. The change is expected to cost U.S. $ 5.000 (around £ 3.107).

is a very interesting concept, after the tests be carried out, and found that causes no problems, it will be nice to those who want to be able to change eye color. I think it interesting that kind of discovery, because people is likely to be as they want and not have had to be.

Fantasy world carved out of wood in the forest

Noble tree is a favorite material for the work of many sculptors. What age is growing, standing still in the same place, waiting to be used for artistic work… These beautiful, wooden sculptures are fabulous as woods described in so many stories. Wizards, forest fairies, Mogli… living in the woods, and in this case are like Pinocchio and made of wood.
